《平安夜歌》创作于1818年，由奥地利乡村牧师约瑟夫 莫尔作词、风琴师弗兰兹 格鲁伯谱曲。这首两百年前创作的歌曲，沉静肃穆，庄严温柔.传唱至今。歌曲首次演出是在奥地利乡村教堂，随后走向了世界。
